Southern Italy & Sicily

Join us as we explore Southern Italy and amazing sites in Sicily on this gastronomy, culture, art, history and leisure adventure. Our Journey will start in the magnificent city of NAPLES (Napoli), where we will visit the ruins of POMPEII and enjoy time in SORRENTO and the spectacular AMALFI COAST. In the neighboring Basilicata, we’ll spend time in MATERA, which in 1993 was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. MATERA is made up of ancient cave dwellings stacked up on the hills. We will leave Basilicata on our way to SICILY, a beautiful island with its own special character - a combination of elegant Baroque cities, ancient Greek ruins and amazing coastline of the Mediterranean, Ionian and Tyrrhenian Seas. Our SICILY adventure will start in the beautiful seaside city of TAORMINA with its fascinating amphitheater. We will explore the MT. ETNA Volcano area and enjoy a visit to a great local winery. We will also visit archeological sites in SYRACUSE, home to Archimides, and Villa Romana del Casale in PIAZZA ARMERINA. From there our tour will continue to AGRIGENTO where we’ll explore the Valley of the Temples, a spectacular collection of Greek temples strung along rocky crests. PALERMO is our final stop.

Matera - Basilicata

One of the oldest cities in the world, nature, history and culture come together in Matera.

A place rich in scenery, unique architectural works, views of incomparable charm, Matera has captivated many artists, including Carlo Levi and Giovanni Pascoli, and continues to enchant with its Sassi, a World Heritage Site. Worthy of a long visit, it enraptures the heart.
